At the heart of the flagship OPUS 500 Series Multi-Room Entertainment System lies the MCU500. Capable of distributing up to 5 audio inputs in addition to the in-built tuner and a local input, to 4 main zones and 4 sub-zones simultaneously, the MCU500 will fill your home with rich detailed sound. A high definition display on the front panel of the MCU500 displays RDS text from the built-in tuner, and enables easy tuning of the 30 station presets.
Designed to work with the MCU500, the VSU500 adds full video switching capability to the OPUS 500 Series Multi-Room Entertainment System. Five composite video inputs correspond to the CD, DVD, SAT, AV1, and AV2 audio inputs on the attached MCU, and can be distributed to the main zones around your home.
Each device bank of the LRC (CD, DVD etc.) has seven buttons that will be 'mapped' to the MCU so that when you press the button of the same symbol on the WCU keypads and SRC remote controls, the MCU can generate the correct command to control the source equipment. These are the Fav-1, |<, >|, |<<, >>|, Stop and Play/Pause buttons.
Style and functionality operate in perfect synergy with this intuitive keypad which features a crisp high-contrast 3.5” full colour LCD touchscreen display with an incredibly wide viewing angle. Opus’ touchscreen offers a huge array of control and can be fully customised for the fastest access to your most frequently used functions and it can even be adapted to feature unique icons and screens for total personalisation.
The DZM20 is normally fitted in the same room in which the matching Opus WCU Wall Control Unit and speakers are fitted. Some appropriate locations are in the ceiling void (next to one speaker) or perhaps hidden away in a closet or other out of sight location in the room.
The OS165 is supremely compact requiring only 80mm ceiling depth and therefore causes minimal disruption in new build or retro fit environments. High quality, discreet audio is therefore possible in virtually any home.
The FP-1 provides all of the great on-screen music management features you expect from a FireBall for your iPod. It's a complete FireBall Music Manager with all of the custom install features you need to provide seamless integration of iPod music into any home audio system.
With the AppleTV and full video conversion we allow you to view the appleTV via any TV connected to the Opus system as well as the video feedback on the touch screen themself (please note the video conversion downscales the image from HD to standard definition, it is possible to reverse this once further high definition solutions are available)
Our designers will provide you with complete wiring diagrams for your electrician to follow, it will also contain cable recommendations, panel locations and advise, panel & speaker sizes and cut out details and additional requirements for central cupboard - we require house plans in either pdf or CAD
Installation Offer As part of the price our installers will come and conduct the complete 2nd Fix and set up of the above installation, we will program all touch panels, program full hot spot control over your source equipment and connect all the parts to a full and functioning system, this is based on:
- All cables have been run as instructed by our free design schematics and are of the correct type
- All back box's are in situ, with cables labelled and visible
- All speaker holes (where applicable) in ceilings have been cut
- A broadband service is live and suitable router is supplied and fitted
- All source equipment is installed and live (ie. Sky, SKY+, FreeSat etc)
- Additional charges will apply for any additional sub-zones added or change in package

- All TV points and connect to any TV's
- All ceiling speakers in place & connected
- All central control equipment and your source equipment
- Connect iPod FP1 to your router
