Harnessing the flexibility and power of Microsoft Vista ®, Opus’ new touchscreen can now provide fast, intuitive interrogation and control of Media Center PCs thanks to the new MCL600 USB Media Center Link.

Using Opus touchscreens it is simple to navigate the familiar Windows Media Center interface and access everything from music to movies, live TV and recorded favourites.

Opus have created two classes of HID (Human interface devices) for control of the Windows Media Center PC. The first is our ‘Hotspot’™ interface which allows areas of the touchscreen to be assigned commands linked with the Windows Media Center PC such as ‘Up’, ‘Down’, ‘Enter’ and ‘Back’. The second type of HID is the Opus ‘Navigator’™ interface which allows ‘mouse-like’ taps and scrolling movements to fully access and control the connected Media Center PC.
